This app was designed to help people find their ideal dog companion. By providing quizzes, news updates, and social connections, users will gain valuable insights into various dog breeds, enabling them to make informed decisions when adopting a pet.

I designed an innovative app called "Hound Helper" that helps dog lovers find the ideal breed for their lifestyle and preferences. The app features an intuitive quiz that assesses various factors, such as activity level, living situation, and grooming preferences, to recommend breeds that best suit potential pet owners. Users can explore detailed breed profiles, including personality traits, exercise needs, and care requirements, making it easier to make informed decisions. Additionally, the app incorporates a community feature where users can connect, share experiences, and even find adoptable dogs from local shelters.
THE WHY
After working at a pet boarding and daycare facility for three years, I observed a common trend: people often purchase or adopt pets that do not match their lifestyles. This mismatch leaves pets in a state where they struggle to thrive, and it prevents owners from finding fulfillment in their companionship. To address this issue, I created an app aimed at bridging the gap between the needs of pets and the expectations of pet owners, ensuring that both can prosper together.
